Product Specialist / Operations Advisor

Zoe Cleland's love of ballet started at Le Studio in Pasadena, CA, with Cynthia Young Fuller, alongside Philip and Charles Fuller. By age 9, she was performing in Pasadena Dance Theater's Nutcracker. At 12 she moved to Westside Academy of Dance where Rosemary Valerie and Yvonne Mounsey taught her. At the same time, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Hollywood and started working as a professional actress. After graduating from Marymount High School, She shifted focus to Costuming and Wardrobe for Film, TV, Theatre and Dance.  Combining all her loves, she began working at The Dance Store in LA. She then went on to fit Pointe Shoes at SF Dancewear while attending UC Berkeley where she graduated with a BA in Psychology. From this point forward, pointe shoes became her primary focus.

Returning to The Dance Store in LA she was lucky to become the pointe shoe buyer for the newly formed Los Angeles Ballet with Colleen Neary. She then moved to New York City to become the Master Fitter for Capezio/Ballet Makers Inc, where she fit professional dancers including dancers from ABT and Broadway shows. While at Capezio she also helped design, test and market pointe shoes. From there she moved on to manage and fit pointe shoes for the newly opened Grishko NYC store where she worked with Judy Weiss.

Moving to London shortly after to start her family, she was able to work at Freed of London and Capezio Europe. She now resides in Gloucestershire, England raising her two boys and working with Les Cygnes as a Product Specialist and Operations Advisor since it's beginning in 2023.
